Birthday cake

So my youngest daughter turned one. We call her our Supergirl. My wife and I decided that we should do a Supergirl theme for her party. We sent out the invitations and then started to look for Supergirl party supplies. If Amazon and eBay did not exist then we would be in some trouble. All stores didn't have any party decorations for Supergirl. We looked everywhere even the party stores and found nothing. While searching for party decorations we saw a beautiful Supergirl cake. We said this needs to our daughters cake for her party. We didn't have time to make the cake so we went to a local bake shop. I gave them the design and they said "Sure we can do that."

Feeling good that we would have a great centerpiece for our birthday in the cake, I was psyched. That was until the bakery said it would be $140.00. I wanted to say forget it, but I tried to call my wife and see what she thought. She was away from her desk at work, so I bit the bullet and say sure. When my wife found out how much I spent she was surprised that I went through with the order. We kept on saying well this is her first birthday we can splurge. After we brought out the cake everyone was saying "What a beautiful cake!" In the end we were glad we got the cake, but did we spend to much? Let me know what you think.
